Late Night Christmas Shopping Evening, 8th December 2005

Every year, on the second Thursday of December, Storrington holds a late night shopping evening. Nearly all the shops stay open until late, and there are lots of entertainers and stalls around the centre of the village. The Guides set up and ran a soup stall, offering warming refreshment to passers by on this particularly cold evening. They were also treated to Carol singing by some of the girls.

This year, Santa paid us an early visit to turn on the Christmas tree lights. He arrived on his sleigh, pulled by huskies.
