Fall Fair, 9th September 2006
Again, we were blessed with sunshine and warm weather for our fair.
The scouts and some of the Dads helped us build the abseil tower in the morning, then in the afternoon,
the Scouts, Guides and Brownies (some of them sponsored) were able to try it out.
We had other attractions as well. The most popular was probably the wet sponge throwing!
The cake stall sold out quickly, and because it was a warm day, it was difficult to keep up with the
demand for cold drinks.
Thanks to all the Dads who helped set up and take down, and a special thank-you to Des Knight and his
scouts who worked tirelessly all day. We very much appreciate their help.
