Petworth Park Camp, 28th April - 1st May 2006
Our first summer camp was the usual Petworth Park camp where we joining nearly 200 other guides and scouts for a weekend of activities. The theme for our sub-camp was 3-cubed.
We started off in sunshine, but it was a cooler weekend than we have been used to in recent years. Nevertheless, all the girls were prepared and no-one was too cold! On the main activity day, we were able to try archery, rifle shooting, laser target shooting, canoeing and many other activities.
Heavy rain on the last night delayed pitching camp as we had to wait until the tents had dried off. This year we didn't quite win the sub-camp prize, but after winning it for the last two years, we can't really complain!
