Centenary Launch Celebration, 5th Sept 2009

The start of the autumn term marked the beginning of the year-long celebrations of the centenary of Girlguiding. To mark the launch several of the district Rainbows, Brownies and Girlguides went to a party at Lodge Hill.

We began with lunch which was follwed by some very skillful juggling. We then split up to try some of the various activities on offer. We particularly enjoyed the team-building games, and the orienteering.
