Fire Building 25th June 2009

On a fantastic Summer's evening, we set about building fires using only wood and paper. We split into four groups, each with our own fire platform. We then built our fires and tried to light them. Lighting proved a bit tricky as there was quite a breeze blowing, but eventually all the fires were lit.

The next task was to make ourselves some mini-pizzas with a whole range of different toppings. We wrapped them in foil and baked them on our fires for a few minutes.

Delicious!.

After our pizzas, we cooked bananas with chocolate and marshmallows in the same way.

Even more delicious!.
